Peoples Plaza will be hosting their annual Turkeython on Monday, November 20th, from 5 – 7 PM in front of Safeway. Come help the Peoples Plaza Merchants Association celebrate the season of giving by donating turkeys and non-perishable food items to the Food Bank of Delaware so they can help less fortunate families enjoy a Thanksgiving Feast. WXCY’s Charlie Maxx will be on hand during that time.
Peoples Plaza Turkeython Requested Food Donations
- Turkeys and Hams
- Applesauce, cranberry sauce
- Oatmeal, cold cereals
- Pudding mix, canned pumpkin, graham cracker pie crust
- Canned gravy
- Rice, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, stuffing, hearty soups
- Corn muffin mix
- Sweet potatoes, yams, peas, green beans
- Coffee, tea bags, hot chocolate, 100% fruit juice
- Evaporated milk
- Turkey pan
